What you get

Everything in the module.

Booking pages

Staff-owned pages with weekly availability, each at a public /book/<slug> URL to paste or embed. Create, edit, preview, copy the link and watch bookings arrive.

Public booking, no login

Anyone with the link picks from your free slots and fills a short form — no account needed — on a page you fully control.

Free-slot math, timezone-aware

The page shows only genuinely free slots: the owner’s calendar free/busy is subtracted, in the visitor’s own timezone, from pure booking math.

Real events, CRM-linked

A confirmed slot creates a real calendar event and, when CRM-bound, links back to the deal or contact. An “add to calendar” ICS file and a tokened cancel link come with it.

Calendar & meetings

A calendar of events and meetings with calendar sync, meeting notes and a meeting detail page — where availability is read and clashes surface.

Shared availability engine

One engine reads a person’s trips, engagements and bookings, plus HR out-of-office and vacation, over a window and shows collisions — non-blocking. It feeds the travel conflict hint, self-booking and vacation checks.

Facts, not promises

  • Public booking pages need no login — each is its own /book/<slug> URL to paste or embed.
  • Booking pages show only free slots — the owner’s calendar free/busy is subtracted, in the visitor’s timezone.
  • Every booking creates a real calendar event, with an “add to calendar” ICS file and a tokened cancel link.
  • Availability collisions are advisory — always shown, never a hard lock; external two-way calendar-sync depth is limited.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do people need an account to book a slot?

No. Each booking page is public at its own /book/<slug> URL — paste it in an email or embed it. Visitors see only your free slots, pick one, fill a short form, and get a real calendar event plus an “add to calendar” ICS file; they can cancel through a tokened link.

How does it know which slots are free?

From pure booking math: the owner’s calendar free/busy is subtracted and the remaining slots are shown in the visitor’s own timezone. Only genuinely free times appear, so a public booking can’t land on top of something you already have.

What is the shared availability engine?

One engine that reads a person’s trips, engagements and bookings, and time-off across a window and surfaces collisions. It’s non-blocking — you always see the clash but are never hard-locked — and it feeds the travel conflict hint, self-booking and vacation checks.

Does it two-way sync with Google or Outlook?

TalentM keeps its own calendar of events and meetings, with notes and a meeting detail page, and booking pages compute free/busy from it. Two-way sync depth with external providers is limited today — we’re honest about that rather than promising a live integration.
